OPEN SPACE TECHNOLOGY
Workshop

See What You Mean Graphic Facilitation and Courage Group International are pleased to co-sponsor a 3 day Open Space Technology Training November 17th-19th, 2010 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Complex times demand leadership that engages and mobilizes those facing tough challenges - Open Space Technology can help. In this 4 day highly experiential workshop, learn to: facilitate Open Space Technology meetings to work with a diversity of people and complex issues needing decisions quickly; apply a holistic approach to plan and achieve maximum benefits; and prepare yourself as a facilitator to hold space for courageous and meaningful conversations.

This workshop will interest you if you are a formal or informal leader, consultant, facilitator, community developer or policy maker in any sector.

Cost: $1000 early bird registration before October 15th. $1200 after. Ask us about special group rates.

Dates: November 17th to 19th, 9am-5pm each day

Online workshop: Monday, January 10th, 2011, 9am-noon

Are you the kind of person who loves working with groups, who is interested in finding new ways to apply your listening and recording skills, and who learns best from doing and reflecting? If you are intrigued with the role of visuals in our group interactions and learning, this playful, hands-on experiential workshop is for you!

Learn how visuals can enhance group facilitation processes and methods, including interactive drawing methods that can be used to break the ice or open up thinking about an issue. Come learn to write and draw on walls, to visually capture what is happening at a meeting or in a classroom and to engage people beyond words and text.

Dates: November 2-4, 2010

Cost: $575 ($420 tuition + $155 meals/accommodations)
